What Insightly costs over 36 months

Every figure below is Insightly's own published rate, annualised and multiplied out over 36 months at 10 seats. Where Insightly publishes no rate, the row says so instead of guessing.

Plan Charged List rate At 10 seats 36 months
Plus Per seat, per month $29/mo $290/mo $10,440
Professional Per seat, per month $49/mo $490/mo $17,640
Enterprise Per seat, per month $99/mo $990/mo $35,640

The same plan at four team sizes

Insightly charges per seat, so the 36-month figure scales linearly with headcount. These are Plus totals, on annual billing, with no fees added.

Team size36-month total
5 seats $5,220
10 seats $10,440
25 seats $26,100
50 seats $52,200

Renewal sensitivity: three scenarios, not a forecast

Nobody knows what Insightly charges in 2029. The table below is arithmetic on a rate you choose, not a prediction: it compounds the year-one total forward at 0%, 5% and 10% so you can see how much of the 36-month figure is exposed to a renewal you have not negotiated yet.

If the rateYear 1Year 2Year 3Three-year total
Held flat $3,480 $3,480 $3,480 $10,440
5% a year $3,480 $3,654 $3,836.70 $10,970.70
10% a year $3,480 $3,828 $4,210.80 $11,518.80

Scenario arithmetic on Insightly's own published year-one figure. Uplift rates are illustrative inputs, not observed or predicted rates.

What sits outside the Insightly list price

5 lines, sorted by when in the contract lifecycle they land. Lines marked as derived are arithmetic on Insightly's own tier table rather than vendor prose.

Each line, what triggers it, and how to avoid it

Onboarding and implementation

Stated on the pricing page: Required guided onboarding is $1,500.

What triggers it. A year-one charge that never appears in a monthly comparison. It hits once, before Insightly delivers any value, and it is entirely absent from the $10,440 subscription figure above.

How to avoid it. Trade it, don't pay it. On a three-year $10,440 commitment, waived onboarding is the concession vendors give up first, so ask for it explicitly rather than accepting a discount on the Plus rate.

Paid add-on or module

Stated on the pricing page: AppConnect technical setup is $3,000.

What triggers it. Triggered by needing the capability, and then charged every cycle afterwards. Add-ons attach to the Plus subscription permanently, so this is a recurring line the $10,440 figure does not contain.

How to avoid it. Build the shortlist at like-for-like scope. Price Insightly with the add-ons you actually need against rivals with theirs, or the $10,440 comparison is measuring different products.

Support and SLA

Stated on the pricing page: Premier support is 20% of license with a $3,000/yr minimum.

What triggers it. Fires at contract time, not at incident time, which is the problem. By the time you want the SLA you have usually already signed without it.

How to avoid it. Get the response-time definition in the order form, with what counts as a P1. "Priority support" with no stated clock is a marketing phrase, not a commitment.

Seat expansion

Stated on the pricing page: Marketing and AppConnect modules are priced per account, not per seat.

What triggers it. Fires when the team grows or splits into differently-priced groups. Mixed entitlements are how a single-rate assumption stops describing your invoice.

How to avoid it. Get expansion pricing fixed in the order form for the full term. Without it, seats added in month 20 are quoted at list.

Feature gated to a higher tier

Derived from the published tiers: Moving from Plus to Enterprise costs a further $25,200 over 36 months at 10 seats, which is 3.4x the entry total.

What triggers it. Triggered by needing one feature, not by growing. This is the mechanism that moves teams off Plus: a single requirement that only exists further up the ladder, at a rate that applies to every unit you buy.

How to avoid it. List every gated capability you will plausibly need in three years, then price Insightly at that tier from the start. Comparing entry tiers you will not stay on is how a $10,440 plan becomes a much larger invoice.

How that compares across crm software

The median crm software tool we track charges $19 a month at its cheapest paid tier. Re-expressed on the same basis as the figure above, 10 seats for 36 months, that median works out at $6,840.

Insightly lands $3,600 above that figure, 52.6%, measured across 25 tracked tools. A gap either way is a question, not a verdict: cheaper often means fewer included seats or a thinner support tier, and the fee lines below are where that difference usually reappears.

What changes at enterprise scale

Everything above prices the self-serve ladder. Enterprise sits off that ladder, which means the $10,440 figure is a floor for a large deployment rather than an estimate of one.

Enterprise tier exists on the public price card; bundle pricing for All-in-One (CRM + Marketing + Service + AppConnect) starts around $2,599/month.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Insightly cost over three years?

$10,440 on Plus at 10 seats, billed annually, which is $290 a month held flat for 36 months. That figure covers the subscription only.

Does paying Insightly annually save money?

Insightly publishes the same effective rate either way on Plus, so there is no prepay discount to capture. Keep the monthly option unless the vendor offers something for the commitment.

What does Insightly charge for outside the plan price?

5 lines: onboarding and implementation, paid add-on or module, support and sla, seat expansion and 1 more. Each one is broken down above with what triggers it and how to avoid it.

Could Insightly cost more at renewal?

Possibly, and nothing on this page predicts it. If the rate held flat the three-year total would be $10,440; at a hypothetical 10% a year it would be $11,518.80. Cap the uplift in the contract and the question stops mattering.

What does Insightly cost for a team of 25?

$26,100 over 36 months on Plus, billed annually. Insightly charges per seat, so that scales directly with headcount.
