How the calculator works
For each selected tool we read the public per-seat tier price, multiply by your team size, and sum across the stack. If a tier has a "custom quote" published (e.g. Salesforce Unlimited, Slack Enterprise+, HubSpot Enterprise), it's flagged separately so you don't fold a fabricated number into your total.
The annual-vs-monthly toggle re-computes from the vendor's stated annual rate. Most vendors discount 15-25% for annual commitment, but seat-minimum rules can offset that for tiny teams (Monday.com requires 3 seats minimum on most paid plans).
What this calculator doesn't include
- Implementation, premium support, professional services
- Hub/module add-ons (HubSpot hubs, Salesforce CPQ/Tableau, Slack Salesforce integration)
- Usage-based overages (Datadog metric overage, Mixpanel event overage)
- Annual contract minimums above your team size
- Negotiated discounts (typically 5-15% below list at 50+ seats)
