What Leapsome costs over 36 months

Every figure below is Leapsome's own published rate, annualised and multiplied out over 36 months at 10 users. Where Leapsome publishes no rate, the row says so instead of guessing.

Plan Charged List rate At 10 users 36 months
Core Module Per user, per month $8/mo $80/mo $2,880
Multi-Module Bundle Per user, per month $14/mo $140/mo $5,040

The same plan at four team sizes

Leapsome charges per user, so the 36-month figure scales linearly with headcount. These are Core Module totals, on annual billing, with no fees added.

Team size36-month total
5 users $1,440
10 users $2,880
25 users $7,200
50 users $14,400

Renewal sensitivity: three scenarios, not a forecast

Nobody knows what Leapsome charges in 2029. The table below is arithmetic on a rate you choose, not a prediction: it compounds the year-one total forward at 0%, 5% and 10% so you can see how much of the 36-month figure is exposed to a renewal you have not negotiated yet.

If the rateYear 1Year 2Year 3Three-year total
Held flat $960 $960 $960 $2,880
5% a year $960 $1,008 $1,058.40 $3,026.40
10% a year $960 $1,056 $1,161.60 $3,177.60

Each line, what triggers it, and how to avoid it

Minimum spend or platform fee

Stated on the pricing page: €6,000 annual minimum for dedicated customer success

What triggers it. Triggered by being smaller than Leapsome prices for. It is why the 10 users basis above can understate the real entry cost for a small team.

How to avoid it. Ask what happens if you shrink. Minimums that only ratchet upward turn a three-year commitment into a bet on your own headcount.

Paid add-on or module

Stated on the pricing page: Compensation benchmarks and learning content add-ons

What triggers it. A separately-priced module. It stacks on top of the plan rate for as long as you keep it, and on a per-unit add-on it also scales with the 10 users basis.

How to avoid it. Review attached add-ons at each anniversary. Modules bought for one project keep billing long after the project ends.

Onboarding and implementation

Stated on the pricing page: Annual contract required, no setup fees

What triggers it. Triggered by go-live, not by usage. The more your performance management setup differs from Leapsome's default, the larger this gets.

How to avoid it. Check whether a partner or your own team can do the same work. Configuration you can do yourself is rarely worth vendor day-rates.

Feature gated to a higher tier

Derived from the published tiers: Moving from Core Module to Multi-Module Bundle costs a further $2,160 over 36 months at 10 users, which is 1.8x the entry total.

What triggers it. A gate rather than a fee. It costs nothing until the day it costs a full tier upgrade, and it invalidates the $2,880 figure above the moment it does.

How to avoid it. Ask whether the capability can be bought as an add-on to Core Module. Vendors frequently unbundle when the alternative is losing the deal.

Seat expansion

Derived from the published tiers: Five more users on Core Module add $1,440 across 36 months, on top of the $2,880 above.

What triggers it. Growth is the trigger. Because Leapsome bills on a modular per-user with annual minimum, adding people mid-term adds cost on the original rate card, not on whatever you negotiated once.

How to avoid it. Price your year-three headcount now, not today's. Negotiating the $2,880 commitment at the size you expect to be is how you avoid buying seats twice.

How that compares across observability, monitoring, and incident response

The median observability, monitoring, and incident response tool we track charges $25 a month at its cheapest paid tier. Re-expressed on the same basis as the figure above, 10 users for 36 months, that median works out at $9,000.

Leapsome lands $6,120 below that figure, 68.0%, measured across 17 tracked tools. A gap either way is a question, not a verdict: cheaper often means fewer included seats or a thinner support tier, and the fee lines below are where that difference usually reappears.

What changes at enterprise scale

Everything above prices the self-serve ladder. Enterprise sits off that ladder, which means the $2,880 figure is a floor for a large deployment rather than an estimate of one.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Leapsome cost over three years?

$2,880 on Core Module at 10 users, billed annually, which is $80 a month held flat for 36 months. That figure covers the subscription only.

Does paying Leapsome annually save money?

Leapsome publishes the same effective rate either way on Core Module, so there is no prepay discount to capture. Keep the monthly option unless the vendor offers something for the commitment.

What does Leapsome charge for outside the plan price?

5 lines: minimum spend or platform fee, paid add-on or module, onboarding and implementation, feature gated to a higher tier and 1 more. Each one is broken down above with what triggers it and how to avoid it.

Could Leapsome cost more at renewal?

Possibly, and nothing on this page predicts it. If the rate held flat the three-year total would be $2,880; at a hypothetical 10% a year it would be $3,177.60. Cap the uplift in the contract and the question stops mattering.

What does Leapsome cost for a team of 25?

$7,200 over 36 months on Core Module, billed annually. Leapsome charges per user, so that scales directly with headcount.
